I was born in Antakya on 4th of August, 1951. I finished Antakya Lycee and entered Chemical Engineering Department of Istanbul University in 1968. Having won a Turkish Ministry of Education scholarship to study abroad, I went to Britain in 1969 and earned my B.Sc, M.Sc., and Ph.D degrees there before returning home in 1980. I worked as a researcher at Ankara Nuclear Research and Training Center for about six years. Subsequently, I moved to Chemical Engineering Department of Ankara University to start an academic career as an assistant professor. I received my associate professorship in 1991 and full professorship in 2009. I have completed 4 projects including an FP6 coordination action and supervised four M.Sc. theses.
Most of my publications are single-authored. So far, 49 publications have given me 54 citations.

Dr. H. She is scientific expert on process development on bioremediation of waste water, some nanobiotechnological applications onto environmental pollution and some industrial enzyme applications onto food technology (clarification of fruit juice, hydrolyzation of phytate ext.). She has published more than 120 papers in the field of biochemistry, food technology and nanobiotechnology journals and conferences.

Dr. Cristina M. Muntean received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics (1980) and the Specialization in Nuclear Physics (1981) from BabeÅŸ-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania). She has completed her Ph.D. at BabeÅŸ-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) with specialization in Atomic and Molecular Physics. Since 1983 she is working at the National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (NIRDIMT), Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her present position in this institute is Senior Researcher grade I. Also Dr. Muntean is a member of the Scientific Council of NIRDIMT, Cluj-Napoca since 2008. She was a visiting scientist at the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, University Paris Nord-13, Paris, France, Max Delbruck Center for Molecular Medicine, Berlin-Buch, Germany, ISAS - Institute for Analytical Sciences, Dortmund, Germany and University of OsnabrÃ¼ck, OsnabrÃ¼ck, Germany. Joon Myong Song received his PhD in 1997 at Kyushu University, in Japan. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 1998 to 2004 at Iowa State University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory in United States. At present, he is a Professor and Head of Department of Pharmacy at College of Pharmacy School, Seoul National University in South Korea. Dr. Liang An received his Bachelor degree in Thermal and Power Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). After graduation, he worked as a visiting scholar and a postdoctoral fellow in the same research group. His research interests are in the area of clean energy-conversion technologies and renewable energy-storage technologies. He has particular research interests in fuel cells, lithium-based batteries, flow batteries, and water electrolysis.
